Effective February 12, 2024: SFDP will charge a legal retainer fee on an income-based sliding scale of up to $250 for DACA Renewals. You may be eligible for free or low-cost services depending on your household income and size. You will be assessed for discounted or free services at the beginning of your online renewal process. This does not include the filing fees required by the federal government (USCIS).

Who can use the SFDP Online DACA Renewal Service?

Anyone living in New Mexico who is eligible to renew their DACA can use this service. 

If you have complex issues like criminal history or prior deportations, we will contact you for a consultation before we complete your application. If your DACA has been expired for more than one year, please contact our staff at sfdpdaca@gmail.com

How does it work?

It’s easy! The whole process can be completed from your smartphone. Send us your information and our legal team will prepare your application. We’ll send it back to you ready to submit to USCIS. 

  1. Register for services by filling out this short Google Form - (this form works best if you have a gmail account). 

  2. An SFDP legal representative will review your registration within a week and contact you with next steps to complete and submit your application by mail.

  3. We’re your attorney - we’ll support you with your application until your case is decided by USCIS, including changes of address, rescheduling biometrics appointments, requests for evidence, case inquiries and any other issues that may come up while your case is pending. 

How much does it cost?

Effective February 12, 2024, SFDP now charges for DACA services on a sliding scale based on income. Our fees range from $0-$250. Additionally, each applicant is responsible for paying the application fee to USCIS. Current USCIS fees are: Form I-821D (DACA) $85 and Form I-765 (employment authorization) $520. Check the USCIS website for current information.
